Trip Report

For this outing we met up on a warm evening to work independently in Spencer Butte Park. We broke into 2 small groups and selected tools appropriately. The first group of Clara and Janet stayed at the trailhead cleaning the concrete steps. The second group of Matt, Gretchen, Dan, Eva, and Dave hiked in to tackle the main task for the evening, cutting back woody brush from the sides of the lower section of the Tie Trail. We hiked down the the junction with the Ridgeline Trail and worked our way back up to where we stopped during the June outing, the Ocean Spray just past the open drain. <br />
