Description:
The leader will meet everyone at the Woods Creek Trailhead. Those coming from the Eugene are will meet at 7:30 am in the north lot of Jerry's Home Improvement on hwy 99. This group will leave 1 1/2 hours before the hike start time. Both iMaps and Google Maps provide directions with slight route variations. Search for Wood Creek Trailhead.
We start at 9 AM from the Woods Creek trailhead. We'll walk approximately 3.5 miles up the 2005 road to the East Ridge Trailhead near Connor's camp. We'll proceed up the East Ridge trail to the summit trail. At that point we will make a decision whether to head for the summit or continue on the Tie Trail. In either event we will descend the North Ridge Trail. Our total mileage will be 9.5 to 11.5. Elevation gain 1800 to 2100'.
Please come prepared for any kind of weather. It looks like the snow should be off by our hike date.
