McKenzie River Trail from Clear Lake to Belknap Springs

Description:

We will meet at the Belknap Springs Parking lot next to the lodge at for a 7:30 departure to the trailhead. There will be a car shuttle from Belknap Springs back to the trailhead to retrieve cars.

This is a long flat hike. Very scenic. We will walk briskly, 2.5+ miles per hour in order to complete in a timely manner. Please be in shape if you sign up for this hike.

Trip Report

7 Obsidians and one guest from Denver hiked 21.5 miles from McKenzie River Trailhead to Belknap Springs in 8h 45m. After a drizzly start we had the perfect cool hiking day. Other than the 3 main attractions, 2 falls and a pool which all had small crowds we saw 2 hikers, one fisherman and two bikers. We didn\'t mind having the trail to ourselves.
