Description:

Here's the jobs, once again:
The biggest job is moving the leaves off the parking area and onto our nemesis Shining Geranium. We have few strategies for controlling these invasives but we can smother them with leaves - not a cure but a strategy. If you have an old tarp to donate, bring it to drag the leaves to their new home.

The beds can still use TLC - ferns to be trimmed, ivy to be pulled, general tidying, etc. etc.
There are some small debris piles (with big pieces of debris) needing to be moved. If you have a cart to bring, we can use it to move the stuff.
There is a small amount of gravel by the storage shed which we can move onto existing and soon-to-be-paths in the parking area. Strong backs and wheelbarrows needed!
We can assemble the new rolling stripping paint wand and give it a test.

Trip Report

Even though the day was foggy and cold, 16 hardy Obsidians worked on the grounds. Many leaves were moved to clear the parking area, the fenceline continued to be cleared, debris was moved, a light was liberated from an encroaching bush, blackberries were vanquished AND a new path was created on the far side of the parking lot (loads of graveled moved!). Painted lines now define both paths to make them more visible at night. I am always in awe of the accomplishments of this hard-working group.
