South hills Loop

Description:

From the Amazon Community Center (28th and Hilyard) we will walk south to Tugman Park. Then west and uphill before looping north to Lafferty Park and the Wayne Morse Ranch before continuing north past the construction site at the EWEB reservoir on Lincoln St. At 19th St. we will turn east toward Kidsports (the former Civic Stadium site). Finally a walk along the habitat restoration project on the Amazon Path by SEHS, and back to the starting point.

Moderate pace. Two puffy climbs. Limited restrooms. All sidewalk, except a short gravel trail at Wayne Morse.
