U of O, 2 Cemeteries & Golf Loop

Description:

Meet by the restroom at the Hendricks Park Rhododendron Garden, off Skyline Blvd. A variety of things are in bloom now and it is worthwhile walking around there a bit.

We will head toward the University to check out the recently-completed renovation of Villard Hall. Next, the Pioneer Cemetery on campus followed by the Masonic Cemetery on 25th St. Then over to Laurelwood Golf Course and up to the top of Capital Dr and past the house where Jay Gatsby might have lived. Finally back down through Hendricks Park to our starting point.

The pace will be moderate and steady.
