Description:

This is a very nice hike and the weather looks great. We'll park near Whistler's Bend and Take the Talbert trail to Middle Ridge and Whistler's Overlook. This is a trail I haven't taken before, so it's a bit of an exploratory hike.

Trip Report

Blue skies and a comfortable hiking temperature of 70 degrees greeted our group of hikers to this North Bank hike from the Talbert trail to Whistler's Overlook. This trail was a new experience for our group. We hiked through wide open flower-covered meadows and were able to get some great views of the North Umpqua River. After our scenic hike we stopped at Backside Brewing in Sutherlin for a very nice meal.
