Willamette Confluence – STEWARDSHIP

  • Start date: 06/05/2026

  • Start time: 9:30 AM

  • End date: 06/05/2026

  • End time: 12:00 PM

Description:

Where to Meet: To reach the Willamette Confluence, head out of town as if you are going to Mt. Pisgah. The property gate is off Seavey Loop on the left-hand side of the road, approximately 0.4 miles from its junction with Franklin Blvd. A faded orange cone marks each side of the entrance, along with a new address signpost.
We will join the McKenzie River Trust staff and other volunteers, to work on blackberry removal along the Pudding Pond trail, to help make sure it is free and clear for upcoming limited mobility tours, and continue improving access for wildlife along the water. Work will include walking on uneven ground, digging, pulling, using loppers and hand clippers, and carrying tarps of debris. This is an excellent opportunity to visit places that are otherwise closed to the public.
