Trip Report

Art and Lillian Johnson and Janice and Pat Pattison again planned and carried out a delightful New Year's Party. They decorated with colorful balloons and a beautiful dessert table with crystal punchbowl. Movies, bingo, dance music, and songs from the Obsidian songbooks were intermingled during the evening, with several pauses for delicious refreshments. The movies were "So Proudly We Hail," "Scrap," and "A Most Notable Century."

Paula Vehrs won the Liar's Cup with a story about camping and hiking with the shadow of "Bigfoot" trailing along behind her.

Other "Liars" were Robin Lodewick and Geraldine Fehly. Other bits of fact and fiction were offered by the audience but not for judging. It was a small but happy group and the entertainment was tops.
