Trip Report

All climbers made the summit. Our group was divided into two sections - one fast and one slow. The fast group, led by assistant leader Tom Rhodes, made the summit in three hours and fifteen minutes; thanks Tom for assisting. The slow group was on top in four and a half hours. Not much snow except for the glaciers which were really opened up this year with many deep crevasses. On Saturday evening before the climb, the group entertained with singing and Frisbee throwing. A mountain thunder storm was threatening late Sunday afternoon so we cleared camp and were out to the Fall Creek trailhead just before it started raining. Climbers and frisbee throwers were Lee Hatch, Dorothy and Ron Leland, Leona Mattson, Jan Middleswart, Mike Northrop, Terry and Tim Plaisted, David Predeek, Henrietta Richmond, Assistant leader Tom Rhodes, and Arran, Kevin and leader Parker Riddle.
