Trip Report

Mac McWilliams won the Annual Liar's contest at this party, which was a lively affair, even though attendance was small. Mary Bridgeman planned several games, plus a new kind of bingo, with small prizes for winners of each event. Robin Lodewick's slides of Iron Mountain were most entertaining, with close-ups of the beautiful wild flowers and varied delightful views of rock formations and distant vistas. The lovely smell of popcorn made us all hungry for the delicious snacks with Ray's expertly made coffee. Guy Lombardo's traditional "Auld Lang Syne" ushered in the new 1978. The evening was clear and cold with an eclipsed moon and sparkling stars.
