Trip Report

On Memorial Day, the first of the annual picnics, was held at the Lodge with Ray Sims in charge. Fourteen were in attendance, and it was noticed that fourteen different kinds of food were on the tables at dinner time.

Gene Thaxton and daughter, Tammy, were on the climbing wall so they helped Ray set up the tables and chairs. Conversation was the theme of the day as it is grand for Obsidians to get together on the warm summer days.
