Trip Report

The climb was scheduled to be climbed via Jack Lake and First Creek camp. The creek was dry so we camped at Martin Lake. Starting at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, we arrived on the summit at approximately 11:15 a.m. We returned to the saddle for lunch and arrived back in camp at 3:20 p.m., then out to the cars at 6:00 p.m. Traffic on the mountain was light with 5 Mazamas just ahead of us and 2 smaller parties just behind us. Obsidian climbers were Lynn Baker, Ed Lichtenstein, Eve Lonnquist, John Moffitt (10th peak), Henrietta Richmond and leader Wes Prouty.
