Trip Report

The new pedestrian signs are not always followed by some cars.....The strategy I use when crossing the Salt Creek car/people crossing is to walk down the middle of the bridge so the vehicle must stop.......Don't allow a car to push you to the side where you'll be squeezed into 18" between the car & guard railing......Some of the view points are missing their guard railings....There is 18" of packed snow on the foot bridge to cross Salt Creek.....It is still safe to cross here....To my surprise it was pointed out to me that the hike is not 3.5 miles but actually 5 miles......Thx
