Trip Report

We were lucky again. After days of rainstorm, blue skies opened over central Oregon coast.
Rhododendrons, Salal and Scotch Broom are in full bloom.
We saw a bald eagle and a great blue heron. Flooded trail around Alder Lake slightly altered our planned route.
On the way back we stopped at Darlingtonia State Natural Site to see carnivorous Cobra lily in bloom.
