Trip Report

On February 23 about a dozen Obsidians showed up to help the Parks Department plant ferns, trees, and shrubs at the beginning of the trail. It was a cool but not rainy day, and the Obsidians were joined by some area locals and a group of fraternity men from UO. A lot got done and the coffee and goodies brought by the parks department were delicious.

Participants were: Matthew Bell (leader), Lena Houston, Larry Huff, Kurt Koivu, Lou Maenz (reporter), Ed Peara, Bonnie Richman and Pat Soussan.
