Description:
Annual Veteran’s Day walk. Dave Lodeesen (1952-2021) founded the hike and led it four times. Dorothy and I are co-leaders. The hike is open to everybody, in the spirit of freedom, freeness, remembrance, or whatever other emotion one has upon going, being there, or afterwards.
We will meet at the parking lot by the west side of Campbell Center at 830 am. We will go by three memorials and then walk up to the bridge crossing by Valley River. Those who want to go on further to Owosso will have a chance. The rest will turn around or choose to leave the trip there to go to Valley River. Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring some water or munchies.
