Description:

This is the third in a monthly series of cleanups of parks and other green spaces in the Eugene / Springfield area.
The event is only 2 hours long (2.2 miles), so many people can participate.
Meet at Wild Iris Ridge Park at the corner of South Bertelsen Rd. and Bailey Hill Rd.

Trip Report

Today was the third in a monthly series of cleanups of parks and other green spaces in the Eugene / Springfield area.
On a sunny, 73°F afternoon, we headed out to Wild Iris Ridge. The entire area was so clean that after 3.2 miles, our group of eight collected only 5 pounds of trash. In the ditches near the parking lot, Mari Baldwin collected an additional 20 pounds of trash.
