Trip Report

We met at the Baker Beach trailhead. Cloudy, low 60's F and no wind was ideal. Our group of thirteen headed west and then crossed north into the unusually dry cranberry bog between the Baker beach trail and Berry creek. Cheerful and capable, our group combed a wide scrubby ravine littered with thousands of driftwood logs. We encountered several areas with hard to penetrate invasive and very prickly Gorse bushes. A few hours later, back in the parking lot, our bags weighed a total of 95 lbs. mixed debris. The first autumn rain sprinkled our departure.
Thank you volunteers!
