Trip Report

Herb Wisner, noted ornithologist at the U. of O. kept his audience spellbound after the exceptionally fine potluck on June 16, with his marvelous collection of birds' nests which covered two tables, and colored slides of birds. He described each nest, explaining its construction and type of occupant, dividing them into "cavity nests" and "open" nests. It seems that birds have as many different personalities as people. Thank you, Herb, for a unique program.
