Description:

We will be removing ivy from the Ridgeline Trail. This is the last investation of Ivy along the Ridgeline trail. It is at the bridge about half a mile from the Blanton Trailhead. We will work about three hours. If we have a big turnout, there are other problem plants to remove.

Trip Report

There is more ivy than I remembered. It is slithering under the mosses and ferns and, in a few places, up the trees. The three of us did damage in our three hours, but there is much more still to do. We will organize another ivy removal outing next month.
