Trip Report

Six of us took the Blanton-Spencer Butte hike on a cold morning, getting above the patchy fog into some sunlight at the top. We could see a significant inversion in place, as smoke rose only a little way, then made a river-like pattern to the west. Good group, and we got down before the trail became too crowded.
