Description:

For this month's outing we will continue to repair storm damage to the Ridgeline Trail. We will work on the Blanton Ridge section to remove a stump and spoils from the tread. Additionally, we may make other improvements and clean kiosks.

Meet at the Willamette & 52nd Street Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot on Willamette.

Trip Report

Our volunteers joined Dev and Ivery of the City's Park and Open Space division to remove rootwads and soil from the Ridgeline Trail in Blanton Ridge Park. Additionally, Clara did an excellent job cleaning the trailhead kiosk.

Dan, Jim, & Aaron did excellent preparation for rowing by using the griphoist to pull a large stump across the trail. It was slow work but sped up substantially when the stump rolled off the trail.
