Description:

This is a small, pocket wilderness area in the North Umpqua drainage. Because the drive is a commitment and it is a backcountry hike, it is subject to cancellation if the forecast is snow, high wind or heavy rain. The leader will make this determination by March 3rd.
The area is also known for poison oak and ticks, both of which are less likely to be a problem given the time of year, but something to keep in mind. Remember, both aforementioned scourges occur at Mt. Pisgah.
