Description:
This car shuttle hike will begin at the West trail head on Brice Creek and will include the 3 mile Upper Trestle Falls loop. We will depart at 8:00 am from the LCC parking lot, turn right at the light and right into the first parking area. Please arrive 15 minutes early for introductions and sorting out drivers/passengers. We will hike the 7.7 mile trail ending at Champion Creek trailhead. Depending on the weather and interest, the falls loop will be optional. Alternatives will be the lower falls and/or playing in the enticing creek. This is a beautiful hike through old growth forest along side and above the crystal clear, tumbling waters of Brice Creek. Be prepared with water, food, appropriate layers, 1st aid kit, sunscreen, bug repellant, poles (strongly recommended), and water shoes, swimwear if you plan to take a dip.
