Trip Report

Perfect day to hike the Brice Creek trail. The trip was run as a shuttle. The hike started from the top of the trail. The group as a whole made the .3 mile detour to the lower falls. Not a lot of water but pretty. The trail still shows the damage from the snow and ice storm of 3 years ago. The trail now has stable footing and no more climbing over trunks. Brice Creek water level is low, looks more like the end of July. The deep green pools are still present and the water is clear to the bottom. Three members of the group wanted to see the upper falls while the rest of us continued down the trail to a great lunch spot on the water. At the end of the trail the group of 3 arrived shortly after the larger group all having enjoyed a great day.
