Trip Report

A variety of activities was enjoyed by the people whose initial goal was to climb Broken Top Sunday morning. Lee, Jerry and myself hiked in on Friday and took off for a swim at Golden Lake Saturday morning. John Englehart came in later Saturday afternoon and sprinted up and down South Sister in 5½ hours. Saturday, late in the afternoon, we were joined by Chris and Bill for the early morning climb of Broken Top. It was a very pleasant if somewhat warm weekend around the Green Lakes area.

Climbers were Bill Bankston, Jerry Crosby, John Englehart, Lee Hatch, Chris Ligneau-Kolstoe and leader Jane Hackett.
