Trip Report

Lee Hatch, Dave Predeek and myself departed Eugene at the appointed time Saturday morning and proceeded to Oakridge where we met Jan and Rich Anselmo. The group then drove on to the trailhead where we met Beth Bernstein and Wiley Campbell from the Portland area. Trailhead conversation with Carol Waddel of Eugene and Dana Gardner of Leaburg (who were going to backpack into Green Lakes) ended with their accepting an invitation to join our group. We climbed to the summit in 2 hours and remained there for 45 minutes, enjoying an unobstructed view of Mt. Adams to the north and Mt. Shasta to the south. The group disbanded at the trailhead, ending a nice weekend and mountain climb by Jan and Rich Anselmo, Beth Bernstein, Wiley Campbell, Dana Gardner, Lee Hatch, Dave Predeek, Carol Waddel, and Jerry Crosby (leader).
