Trip Report

Visiting, sharing photographs and eating scrumptious desserts kept 48 people busy at the reunion. Lloyd Plaisted, Vera Woolley, Linda Erz, Bob Foster, Mike Stahl, and Suzanne Steussy shared slides of our hikes in the Marble Mountains. One of the best slides was of Dick Moffitt's old van with 169,000 miles on it climbing one of those steep, dusty roads. Such is life in the wilderness. None of the slides though, captured the intense sun that beat down on us in unshaded areas and encouraged Obsidians to drink lots of water. Wes Prouty presented Vi Johnson with a Camp Johnson sign. Henrietta led the group in singing a camp song written by her and Leona Devine.
