Trip Report

The "Camp Ritchie" Reunion/Potluck at the Lodge on Friday, September 25 was a resounding success . . . indeed, this had to be the largest Potluck ever! Tables from the board room and a card table were set up outside the Lodge to accommodate the 100 people who came to see slides of summer camp. Since there are only 99 chairs in the Lodge, the additional ten people who came after dinner to see the slides must have stood. Potluck basket fees totaled $50.67.

Thanks to Norm Benton, Carol Kompanik, Vera Woolley, Bob Dark, Lloyd Plaisted, Andy Thompson, Shirley Froyd, Joyce Deefers, Wes Prouty, and Glenn Meares for showing their slides. The views at camp from the Red Hills made it clear what a wonderful site we had for Camp Ritchie. Another round of applause goes to the Camp Committee.
