Description:
Gradual 4.7 mile ascent passing by Cabot Lake en route to Carl Lake where we will pitch camp. Layover day we will day hike to beautiful Table Lake (5.1 miles one-way). As time/energy allows, we can explore (off-trail) The Table (south flank of Mt. Jefferson). Day hike elevation gain is approximately 900 ft net gain with total distance between 10.2 - 12.2 miles depending on extent of our exploration of The Table. From west side of The Table we should be able to look down on Hunts & Hanks Lakes. ***Day hike mileage is NOT included in "round trip trail miles" above**
