Buzz Blumm has been hiking and climbing for most of his life… 20+ years on the East Coast, 30+ years on the West Coast, with a few notable places, such as Mt. Rainier, Mt. Everest base camp and Mt. Kilimanjaro. An Obsidians member since 1992, Buzz has led over 40 hikes/climbs, including several times up Mt. Whitney. Buzz’s presentation will feature a bit of his personal hiking history, followed by his more current adventures, accompanied by beautiful photos and a few snippets of videos. At 80, he continues to hike every week - half with his wife, Cecile and half solo - with most hikes at least 100 miles away. He enjoys sharing his passion for the great outdoors through his YouTube channel, Buzzin’ Along, where viewers can get a video preview of many different trails as he takes us along his hikes.

Also bring your own personal plate, eating utensils and cup or mug - all of which you will take home to wash. You may bring a non-alcoholic beverage. Decaf coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be provided.
