Trip Report

It was "Wall to Wall" Obsidians at the Lodge Christmas party - we ran out of table space. The array of delicious food was outstanding. The delightful program arranged by Leona Mattson and committee included a Christmas solo by Edythe Pearson, accompanied by Mary Etter; carol singing; piano medley by Karen Seidel; carols played on saxophone and clarinet by Greg Schultze and Ron Leland; a delightful presentation by "Paul the Magician" (Paul Reffstrup, neighbor and guest of the Castelloes) and last but not least - Santa Claus with bag full of gifts. Many volunteers worked in the kitchen with Donna Ferchland, and Ray Sims (Chief Smoke Turner) built the fire and made the coffee while Paula Vehrs completed the decorations. Thanks to Leona and committee for a grand party.
