Trip Report

On a perfect fall day four members left SEHS parking lot for a day of trail maintenance at Clear Lake. We picked up Suzanne at Vida and were on the trail shortly after 10:00 a.m. Most of the day was spent clearing vine maple that was beginning to crowd the trail, but we did cut up and move a tree that had fallen over the trail. We were able to take time to enjoy spectacular views of the lake and the fall colors bordering it, and to have a lively conversation during our lunch break. The five hard working members were Wayne Deeter, Beth Kodama, Iwo Lojasiewicz and co-leaders Joanne Ledet and Suzanne Shannon.
