Trip Report

(between Clark Butte and Fall Creek Trails)
A trail maintenance trip to cut brush back along this trail. Any hiker who has been on the Jones Trail-Clark Butte loop trip from Bedrock Campground back to the Campground trailhead of the Fall Creek Trail will have probably used this trail. It makes it possible for the hiker to leave the Clark Butte Trail and cut across to the Fall Creek Trail without having to go down to the Clark Creek parking lot and walk back up the Fall Creek Road.

It was a fine, sunny day to be out and the work of cutting fern back with a pair of loping shears was not difficult. I would have enjoyed the company of a few fellow workers, however. - H. Smith
