Description:

This is a loop hike that will start at Timpanogas Lake and progress in a clockwise direction. The last part of the climb to the summit of Cowhorn is a bit of a scramble so some people prefer to wait below. We'll then descent to Indigo Lake and take the time for a swim before heading back to our trailhead. I have encountered mosquitoes in this area but mostly around the lakes. After the hike we'll stop in Oakridge for dinner. This is an all day adventure so plan on getting home late.

Trip Report

This was supposed to be a hike up Cowhorn Mt however due to the road from Crescent Lake being too rutted for our vehicle the hike was changed to Lakeview Mt. We started at the Fawn Lake trailhead and hiked past Fawn Lake to Saddle Lake. Our group then decided that it was just too hot of a day to slog up Lakeview Mt so instead we hiked back to Fawn Lake to take a very refreshing swim before hiking back to the trailhead.
