Coyote Creek Paddle

  • Start date: 05/27/2026

  • Start time: 9:00 AM

Description:

Meet on W. 11th in the Target parking lot and then caravan to the put-in on Cantrell Road. Recommended reimbursement to drivers - $2.50. We will probably paddle Coyote Creek to the south, and then we will turn around and paddle into Fern Ridge Reservoir. This is flat water - no rifles. Please have at least a 10' rope attached to your bow.

Note: there is no ramp at the put-in; depending on the water level, getting into/out of your boat may require assistance from another person. There may be mosquitoes - long sleeves and perhaps repellent and a sun hat are recommended. We'll be done paddling around 12:30-1pm.

There is no pit stop place on the creek; plan your liquid intake accordingly.
