Description:
This is a great hike in the coastal mountains with less people on the trail. The trail is off Highway 101 near Yachats, up the road roughly 2 miles. The trailhead starts there, hiking through lush forest and lush ferns along the ridge .
Meet in Eugene at the Walmart on West 11th and leave at 8am. (if you are not driving don't leave your car too close to West 11th). If you are interested in being an assistant and organizing the group coming from Eugene please let the leader know. Then meet up with me, Rachelle in Florence at the Fred Meyers parking lot near the gas station, 9:30 am.
An after hike meal is an option.
Suggested reimbursement to drivers is $17.
