Trip Report

What a flawless day to view Salt Creek Falls and Diamond Creek Falls. 7 Obsidians meandered through the peaceful forest admiring rhodies, timber, and rock formations. At the bottom of Diamond Creek Falls, the newly completed bridge was a masterpiece, thanks to the Youth Conservation Corp and funding from the Great American Outdoors Act. The water was refreshingly cold and the air temperature was cool compared to the 80 degree temps away from the water. This is a gem of a hike.<br />
