We'll hike through the historic hazelnut orchard to the banks of the Middle Fork of the Willamette, for about 2 miles or more, before turning around, for a total of 4.5-5 miles.
Pace will be moderate.
Meet at 5:50pm for a 6:00 departure: Dorris Ranch parking lot - turn left after entering - NEAR RESTROOMS.

Trip Report

When we arrived at Doris Ranch, the gate was locked due to pesticide spraying in the hazelnut Orchard. With Lana‘s Help, we pivoted to the Springfield river front at Day Island Park and everyone enjoyed the warm evening.
