Description:

Observing all the new policies we will meet at the upper parking at Doris Ranch. If you do not know directions to DR please give me a call. Starting at DR we will hike along the river toward Clearwater park. It is 4 miles to Clearwater at that point we will return along the same path until we hit the cut off for the Mill Race path. We will return to DR via the path cutting through the old Springfield cemetery. We will continue through a residential area hit 2nd street and continue back to the parking lot. Trip Report

It was good to get back to the trail. We all enjoyed the brisk walk that included more elevation then advertised. Leaving Doris Ranch we walked to the midway point where we turned on to the Mill Race Path. After passing the old Boothkelly mill we picked up the trail that leads up to the Springfield Pioneer Cemetery. We then decided to go on up to Willamette Heights Park. Much of this trip was new to some of the people. We were back to the cars by 11 am.
