BIG MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL WOULD NOT BE SAFE TO BE ON THE TRAIL WITH LOTS OF BIKES. We will meet at the Pisgah Public Market in Pleasant Hill. Many of you may have done Tire Mountain from the other side and wondered where the rest of the trail went. Here's you chance to find out. Starting from the west we will be just a few steps away from another part of the E2C--Winberry Divide.
Scouted the trail on 7/12. The Forest Service is nearing completion a new bridge which Carla and I crossed. Poles came in handy in some parts of the trail. This is mainly a biking trail and some switch-back turns can be steep and slippery.
