Description:

Trip description: From the Safeway at 40th and Donald we will cross Willamette St. to Rest Haven Cemetery and walk north toward Wayne Morse Ranch. Then south to Ridgeline Trail Connector #1 before heading back to the starting point. The mostly paved route follows quiet streets and various public right-of-ways including the Edgewood Nature Trail. There are some steep, winding sidewalks that can be slippery when wet and a few muddy sections. Limited restrooms. We will finish before lunch. If the weather is nasty we will shorten the route a bit.

Trip Report

The walk took about 3 hours. Some sections were, as expected, muddy but not terribly so. The steep sections are not for those with gimpy knees.
