Trip Report

We lucked out with sunny weather for a late fall hike along the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. We were able to stay on the fishermen's trail all the way to Dexter Dam as the river level was somewhat low. From there we climbed up onto the dam berm and enjoyed beautiful views across the lake to Lowell and lunch at a picnic table on the edge of the lake. On our return we met several horseback riders. Pretty much had a perfect day and a very pleasant hike.
