Description:
Meet by the restroom at the Hendricks Park Rhododendron Garden, off Skyline Blvd. Multiple things are approaching full bloom now and it is worthwhile to arrive early and wander around a bit.
We will walk, mostly via the river path, to the downtown Eugene LTD station. From there we will take the EMX to the downtown Springfield station and walk back to Hendricks Park along the river.
If you are a senior and do not have a free LTD pass, plan to get one at the LTD customer service center. You can download an application form at https://www.ltd.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/FARE_LTD-Half-Free-Fare-Form-2018-03-27.pdf.
The pace will be moderate to brisk. Those who want a longer or shorter walk have multiple options.
