Trip Report

Heron Brae’s talk, "For the Love of Oak," was a unique one for the Eugene Natural History Society, in that she combines Science with a kind of embodied spiritual relationship that we should all strive to have with our native fellow beings such as the Oregon White oak, and all of the beings that are connected to it. We left wondering which special oak tree we would adopt to develop a special relationship with.
