Description:

Meet in front of Rite Aid at 29th and Willamette. We will go through the Wayne Morse woods to a small meadow full of shooting stars. Along the way we will pass numerous fawn lilies and some trilliums. Our uphill tromp will take us through hidden pathways and at one point, we will be greeted by an oinking pig or two. Expect some short, steep uphills and two long climbs up stairs.

Trip Report

What a beautiful, sunny, warm Spring day we had after what seems like weeks of cold, rainy weather. The flowers we set out to see were indeed fabulous. The pig started oinking right on cue and came running as soon as it saw us. This is one of my favourite walks.
