Description:

The Fairmount line was one of several public streetcars that served Eugene during the early 1900s. Our 4-mile walk will cover approximately 2.5 miles through the South University and Fairmount neighborhoods of where the streetcar ran. We will even see some of the original tracks that remain to this day. The walk begins and ends at the Amazon Community Center. Plan to be finished between 11:30 am and 12. We will make a brief stop at the EMU for a restroom break (provided it is open) before returning to the Amazon Community Center Parking Lot.
