Trip Report

Six Obsidians - Doris Allen, Dallas Cole, Bill Montgomery, Royal Murdock and trip leader Ray Jensen - worked on the middle section of the Fall Creek Trail. Also with us was Harvey Speck (a non-worker by doctor's orders) but who was our cameraman, inspirational leader, spiritual adviser and political consultant! Sue Baker, Recreational Forester from the Lowell Ranger District, directed our routine tread maintenance plus back-packing of gravel to boggy areas, a task best performed by four-footed beasts of burden. We have earned extra credit for this labor of love. A good job was done on this chilly autumn day.
