Finally a break in the weather so the snow conditions should be great for a snowshoe trek to Fawn Lake which will give us some beautiful views of Lakeview Mt. If the weather report changes the date of this trip might also.

Trip Report

After waiting a couple of weeks for good weather we finally got a break allowing us to head up to Crescent Junction for a snowshoe trip into Fawn Lake. Our group of seven were greeted with beautiful views of Lakeview and Redtop Mountains around Fawn Lake. The 3.5 mile trek into Fawn Lake is an unmarked uphill climb that requires the use of GPS but we had the entire area to ourselves.
